![]() Born and raised in Southern California (Bellflower, "The Friendly City"). Growing up he considered a career in baseball, enjoyed the local beaches, mountains, fast cars and accompanying his father (a family physician) on housecalls. Dr. Reynolds' love of animals combined with his passion for medicine led him to become a Veterinarian. He attended a number of Universities (too many) including UC Irvine, Cerritos J.C., Brigham Young University and CSPU Pomona, finally receiving degrees in Animal Science, Chemistry, Biology, and a teaching credential. He met his beautiful wife Nancy at a church dance and finally settled down to start a family. He then took his family to the University of Minnesota for his Masters and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. The Reynolds family came back to California and have lived here since 1991. The family has grown to include 7 children along with his commitment to church and community service. The Reynolds are proud to be in Roseville and thank their clients for entrusting the West Roseville Veterinary Hospital with the highest level of care for your pets. |
![]() I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I read my first James Herriott novel. I dreamed about someday becoming a vet and worked in veterinary clinics throughout my high school years. I graduated from Casa Robles High School in 1984 and got married right away. I earned my Veterinary Technician license in 1988, but spent most of my time raising my 2 boys. In 2000, I left my marriage of 15 years, earned my bachelors degree and was accepted to the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Despite a 70 mile daily commute, being a single mom and "older" student, I graduated in the upper percentile of my class in 2006. During that time, I also earned my amateur radio license, class M motorcycle license, advanced scuba certification and P2 paragliding pilot license. I am involved in the Folsom Lake mounted patrol and am active in the Tevis cup 100 mile endurance ride every year. I love to camp, hike, scuba dive, paraglide, horseback ride and motorcycle ride. I share my home with my 2 sons, new husband, stepson and stepdaughter, as well as 3 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 large tropical fish tanks and a goat. |
